Dead Bear Brewing C-1 Express Race

The Dead Bear Brewing C-1 Express Race is held on Thursday of Race Week in Grayling during Marathon Time Trials and is open to Marathon paddlers and the general public.

Starting at Penrod’s AuSable Canoe and Kayak and ending at Burton’s Landing, average competitors finish the course in 50-60 minutes. Starting positions for the race are determined by draw. Cash prizes are awarded at the finish line. The total prize pool is $660 with both men and women’s divisions.

The entry fee for the race is $15. Entry forms can be obtained during race week at the Marathon Office located in the Nature Center in Grayling or on race day at the C-1 Registration table.

Registration is open from 1pm to 5pm and the race starts at approximately 6pm.
