Put your skills to the test in an obstacle course designed to challenge you and your equine partner!
August 30 from 9am-4:30 pm at Scarlet Day Farm in Gray.
In hand, lead-line, WT and WTC divisions to choose from! WTC division is an open division.
HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ANYONE RIDING REGARDLESS OF AGE. Helmets required for anyone under 18 while leading or riding.
This show will be run a little bit differently than other versatility competitions. Competitors will have ride times- Each rider may choose their time slot, which is 15 minutes that will be allotted for them to complete all 13 obstacles. When your 15 minutes is up you must leave the arena to allow for the next team to enter. If you miss your time slot you will be scratched from the show. If the person ahead of you scratches you may opt to ride early but are not required to do so. Each rider will receive a 5 min warning and a 1 min warning during their ride.
If you do not complete the course you will be scored only on the obstacles you were able to complete. The goal is to attempt or complete all obstacles in the course.
Obstacles will be scored on a scale of 0-5. 0 being did not attempt, 5 being excellent job.
The course map will be available 2 weeks in advance of the show.
Copies of vaccine records and coggins must be submitted with your entry form. Payment is required to hold your time slot. $75/ horse and rider team. Time slots are limited so please sign up as soon as you can!
I will have ribbons 1-6 in each division, high point awards for in hand and mounted competitors and a fun giveaway that each person will be entered in upon signing up!
This competition will be judged by Carly Wade of 898 Quarter Horses.
