The Gravette Lions Club is hosting the Alpha Gal Encouragers non-profit support & advocacy group's "Alpha-gal, Tick ID & Prevention" presentation. This event is open to the public, so bring a friend. You'll learn more about Alpha-gal Syndrome, the ticks that carry and transmit it, as well as identifying other tick species in Arkansas, the tickborne diseases they can carry and what we can all do to prevent future bites.
