Perot Museum Pop-Up Exhibit

The Perot Museum is hosting a pop-up exhibit at the Grapevine Vintage Railroad's Cotton Belt Depot showcasing fossils discovered in Grapevine.

In September 2019, Murray Cohen—a commercial pilot and Perot Museum volunteer—was fossil hunting near Lake Grapevine when he found a two-inch jawbone in the sand. He brought it to the museum, where researchers initially thought it belonged to a crocodile. Instead, it turned out to be a new species of dinosaur.
