NiceMarmot formed in the fall of 2022, is a modern bluegrass trio consisting of mandolin, banjo and upright bass that blends the songs and spirit of bluegrass and old time with the colors and feeling of jamband and psychedelic styles.

Emerging from the foothills of North Carolina, NiceMarmot offers an experience of the continual growth and evolution of the musical heritage of the region. And it’s good for dancing, hootin’, and hollarin’.
