With the weather warming up, we’re excited to announce a special community event hosted by the Old Six Mile Historical Society and Museum on Saturday, May 31st!
🎉 Event Highlights:
🛍️ Yard Sale: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
🚗 Car Show: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
🍖 BBQ: 10:30 AM – 4:00 PM (or until sold out)

🏛️ Museum Tours
Our museum, housed in the oldest structure in Granite City (188 years old!), will be open during the event. If you’ve never visited, now is the perfect time to explore local history, view fascinating artifacts and documents, and learn about our community's roots. Since opening in 1984, over 13,000 visitors have toured the museum, thanks to the dedication and support of the Engelke family.
