Since the 1990s and through the years leading up to his passing, Roy was deeply involved in the heart of our community. He was instrumental in building youth sports programs and was always creating and organizing community events. His presence in Granger was steady, impactful, and full of purpose.

He was not only a dedicated community advocate and leader but also a beloved family man whose legacy continues to inspire us all. This special ceremony is a way for our city to say thank you and ensure that Roy’s name lives on in the place where so many memories were made.
