Open Taiko Practice with Hidden Ninja Taiko

Come explore the world of taiko with us !

This is a free event in a beautiful park.

You just need to bring:

✔ comfortable clothes
✔ some water
✔ towel (this will be used for training)
✔ some ENERGY! 😀

Each practice begins with fundamentals to increase our presence and connect to each other as taiko players. We then use those fundamentals to learn new & fresh musical pieces shared with us from other taiko troops !

We have trained by both international and national taiko performers such as Kodo and Kadon and we are excited to be able to share this in-depth body mechanics focused fundamental approach. We have diverse body of knowledge including decades of western, middle-eastern, Thai and Chinese percussion. In the world of taiko we include chu-daiko (main drum), katsugi (drums carried on a strap), kane (gong), chappa and Odaiko (really big drums) in our practices!
