The City of Grande Prairie is excited to bring back GirlZone, an activity-based day for girls ages 10 to 15 this October! GirlZone aims to encourage young women to try new skills and recreational activities in a non-judgmental setting with their peers.
Date: October 4, 2025
Time: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Locations: Eastlink Centre
Age restriction: Girls ages 10 to 15.
Cost: $20 and includes lunch
Participants will be divided into five groups of 20 to 25 girls. New to the 2025 program, an optional group is available for ages 13 to 15 to support a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone. Each of the groups will visit seven of the ten available stations showcasing a mix of sports, skills and cultural experiences.

Yoga and Journaling with It's the Small Things

Soccer with Swan City Football Club
General Fitness Class with Instructors
Volleyball with city programmers
