Nips & Sips: A Two-Part Feeding Series for Expecting Mamas
In this interactive, cozy afternoon workshop, we’ll dive into everyday feeding life with your baby. From pumping plans to bottle choices to managing growth spurts and milestones, you’ll leave feeling confident and prepared.
✨ Note: Missed Part 1? That’s totally fine! These classes don’t need to be taken in order. You can start with Part 2 or join Part 1 first, as they alternate months. Either way, you’ll walk away with valuable knowledge and confidence.
✨ What You’ll Learn:
When & how to introduce a bottle
Paced bottle feeding
Pumping basics (like what flange size to use) & creating a sustainable pumping plan
Feeding in real-life (night feeds, public feeding, nursing in carriers)
Understanding feeding rhythms & what’s “normal”
Handling common shifts: strikes, teething, dropping feeds
Led by Nicole Major — IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) and postpartum nurse — this class blends evidence-based teaching with real-life, judgment-free support.
✨ Includes:
A signature mocktail bar
Charcuterie snacks
Custom handouts and demo stations
A nurturing space to ask questions and connect with others
Invitation to join a private Facebook group for Nips & Sips mamas — a space to meet classmates, share milestones, and find your mom friends 💕
About the Series:
Nips & Sips is a two-part prenatal class series, but each session is valuable on its own.
Next month’s class (“Foundations of Feedings”) will explore the essentials to feel confident starting your feeding journey. We’ll cover how milk supply works, what to expect in the first days after birth, positioning and latch basics, hand expression, and early troubleshooting. You’ll leave with practical tools and a clear picture of what’s normal in the newborn stage. Can’t attend both? You’ll receive a free downloadable guide for the class you miss.
