BATTLETECH BLIND BOX BLITZ. Get ready to dredge the junkyards to find some salvageable 'Mechs for the coming battle!
We will be running another SLAVAGE DRAFT event this weekend on Saturday the 10th of May.
As before, each participant will get three Battletech Blind Salvage Boxes to open, and they must assemble a squad of 'Mechs from the models they receive. Additionally, you may BRING A BUDDY for a discount (if you bring a new player who hasn't played in our salvage events before, you both get $5 off your entry fee).
EVENT DETAILS
-Event runs on Saturday the 26th of April; doors open at 10am and we'll start around 10:30am.
-Entry fee is $35, which covers your salvage boxes and includes a free bottomless fountain drink.
-Bring-a-Buddy: Recruit a new player and you both get $5 off your entry fees.
⁃Three rounds in Swiss Tournament Format, 1 vs 1.
⁃ Rounds will be 150min long.
-Maximum Battle Value for a team is 3500BV.
-No 'Mech may have its gunnery or piloting skill modified more than +1/-1.
-Stock canon 'Mechs only.
Anyone interested should sign up at Wonderland Games (8 spaces available). Players will receive their Salvage Boxes on the day of the event; once opened, they may use mordel.net to check out the available variants of the drawn 'Mechs. Only 'Mechs from the Civil War era or earlier will be eligible (No Jihad, no Dark Age, no Ilkhan). Once teams are built, record sheet printouts will be available at the Wonderland front desk; just let us know which sheets you need printed.
Games will be played using the Total War/Classic Battletech format and will use the “combat log” system; at the start of the combat phase each player writes down their targets, and both players then take turns resolving their attacks.
We hope that this event will bring new people into the game, and bring new communities of players together. Remember to have fun and enjoy the game!
