Open Rope GR is built on the belief that community is active. We thrive by contributing, connecting, and keeping the space alive. We are a group of rope enthusiasts who support each other through shared interests and relationships. Everyone is encouraged to participate, whether you're tying, being tied, observing, or sharing insights.
We believe in open-source learning, where everyone’s journey is valued and every voice matters. Come with curiosity, and leave with new skills, deeper connections, and a renewed sense of inspiration.
Join us for an evening of intentional exploration, collaborative learning, and community connection as we gather to practice, experiment, and grow together in our rope journey. This is not a traditional class— no set curriculum and no hierarchy. Instead, we offer a community-led skillshare where curiosity, experimentation, and mutual support are at the heart of the experience.
All Are Welcome:
Whether you identify as a top, bottom, switch, or self-tier, this event welcomes all roles and experience levels, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners. Come ready to tie, fail, learn, and build in a space that values process over perfection and connection over performance.
What to Expect:
A collaborative space gently guided by experienced community members, where curiosity and connection are encouraged.
Engage in hands-on exploration of three distinct rope skills, supported by live demonstrations and peer guidance. Throughout the evening, there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, troubleshoot techniques, and exchange ideas.
All skill levels are welcome—whether you're just starting out, refining your practice, or pushing advanced boundaries.
Thoughtful conversations around rope dynamics, safety, creativity, and personal growth.
Please Note:
Suspension points and open play will not be available at set times during this event. Due to its open-ended format, the focus will remain on learning, discussion, and skill-building. The focus is on intentional practice and learning, rather than scenes or play.
Venue doors will open at 6:45 PM and close/lock at 7:05 PM.
This event is cash only and donation based, we recommend a donation of $10-20 but please pay what you can. Scholarships are available with no-questions-asked.
