Martini Monday Music Series - Rich Mattson & Germaine Gemberling

Hailed by Iron Range native and folk singer Paul Metsa as the “Johnny and June of Northern Minnesota,” this acoustic duo has been performing in and around the state since 2010. Well-known for their vocal harmonies, their repertoire consists of country/folk/rock classics mixed in with original compositions inspired by the north country. Rich and Germaine have released 14 albums/cd’s together under different monikers (Junkboat, Rich Mattson and the Northstars, Germaine Gemberling “Generator”) all recorded at their home base, a recording studio near Eveleth called Sparta Sound
