Tyler Michael Jacobs Reading + Open Mic

Tyler will be at the shop reading poems from his new book The Weight of Drought. He will talk a bit about his writing process and be available to answer any questions and sign books. After, there will be an open mic for anyone to perform their poetry, acoustic music, etc.!

About the author:
Tyler Michael Jacobs is the author of The Weight of Drought (Stephen F. Austin State University Press, 2025) and Building Brownville (Stephen F. Austin State University Press, 2022). His words have appeared in Passages North, Variant Literature, Plainsongs, Pidgeonholes, Sierra Nevada Review, and elsewhere. His poems have also been featured on Nebraska Public Media’s Friday LIVE. He received his MFA from Bowling Green State University.
