Branded Bonanza is coming to the Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island, NE, August 22-23, 2025! Approximately 16 wild horses will be available for adoption or sale, first come first served.
Getting there: From HWY 80, take Exit 314, go north (road name changes to S Locust St. Turn right on to Fonner Park.
Branded Bonanza is a community-driven training event that pairs wild horses or burros with horsemen and women from across the country. The goal of this competition is not to "win," but rather offer an opportunity for the trainer to improve their horsemanship and for the horse or burro to gain the skills they need to be successful in their new, domestic life. As a trainer or spectator, you will gain access to a true community of supportive folks just like you who are here to see to the success of these formerly wild horses and burros.
