Learn the techniques of making a traditional braided mat from upcycled fabric. You will do braiding and basic sewing. No experience necessary, suitable for beginners.
Participants will make a small mat that could be used for a trivet or table centerpiece or even added onto to make a larger mat if you wish. Tools and materials provided, but if you have a favourite sewing needle and fabric scissors you are welcome to bring them.
Event will be hosted in partnership with Green Bay Regional Tourism Association.
