Conversations & Connections - 6 Week Group for Adolescent Adoptees!
Come join us weekly starting on Thursday May 8, 2025 from 6:00-7:30 PM for a 6-week group tailored to adolescent girl adoptees. This in-person group will provide a safe and supportive space for young individuals to connect, share experiences, and build relationships with other adoptees.
Throughout the 6-week program, participants will engage in meaningful conversations about identity, self-esteem, strengths and social skills with fellow adoptees, guided by Shelley Garcia; LMSW and Dee Worley, who are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment for growth and self-discovery.
We will also be offering a parent group at the same time as the adolescent sessions to give parents the opportunity to connect as well. Dinner will be provided for both groups.
This group is open to any adolescent adoptee girls ages 12-15 living in Kent County.
*We are planning for an adolescent adoptee boys group will be held at a later date.
