The Melanin Glam Garden Party is an annual celebration of Black and Brown excellence in the Greater Grand Rapids community. Our event, held during Labor Day weekend, brings together Black and Brown women to celebrate their achievements and contributions in a picnic-style setting. We invite you to join us for our third annual event, featuring a live DJ, games, food truck vendors, and more. Visit our Facebook page for more information on how to prepare for a garden glam picnic.
Experience an elegant Garden Party with a $42 single fee or $120 3-person group entry fee, covering seating, competition entry, swag bag, and food and dessert tickets. Your picnic spread, decor, and attire will be judged by other guests for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes. Decorations are up to your creativity.
