April 2025 Meeting - Paramotor Demonstration!

Join us for an exciting and informative gathering at our April 2025 meeting, where we'll be hosting a live Paramotor Demonstration!

A local paramotor pilot, Cole Payne, will make a presentation and take to the skies and showcase the unique capabilities of powered paragliding. This is a great opportunity to learn about the equipment, flight techniques, and safety procedures involved in this thrilling form of aviation.

Whether you're a seasoned pilot, an aspiring aviator, or just curious about this fascinating sport, you won't want to miss it. There will be time for Q&A, up-close looks at the gear, and maybe a chance to put on a foot launch paramotor or a chance to get hands on with a paramotor wing.

For this meeting, we will be meeting on 4/22 at the Grand Ledge Airport Terminal (FBO) at 16815 Wright Rd, Grand Ledge, MI 48837. Social at 6, Presentation at 7.

NOTE: The paramotor demonstration is weather-dependent. In the event of unfavorable conditions, the flight portion may be postponed or canceled, but the meeting and ground activities will still take place as scheduled. Wind direction on the day of the event, might also cause us to meet at the workshop on the east end of the airport.
