FROM THEN TO NOW AND WHERE TO FROM HERE
We have come a long way in wildlife management and the research that informs our management practices and current practices are a synergy of accumulated knowledge and technological innovation. This theme is focused on not forgetting the fundamentals, but also harnessing the emerging technologies to better support wildlife management and to look forward as to how we conserve and manage wildlife into the future.

Abstracts can be submitted using the following sub-themes as guidelines:
1. The biodiversity economy and the community
2. Genetics in wildlife management and research
3. Large living landscapes
4. Cause and Effect in wildlife management and research
5. Emerging technology to aid conservation, management and research
