INTRODUCING THE HERITAGE BEEFMASTER SALE

The Brotherton, Ford, and Hobson families are incredibly excited to present the Inaugural HERITAGE BEEFMASTER SALE. Building on the success of the Begelly Beefmaster Sale, the new partnership with Just Beef will add a new dimension to this years’ offering. As well as partnering in the sale, Begelly Beefmasters have partnered with Just Beef in the ownership of Boston (BOS200463), who we can already see will have a significant impact in our herd for years to come. The calves he has produced thus far are showing fantastic uniformity and functional traits.

We view Hobson & Co not as mere Livestock Agents, but critical partners in our sale that will assist us in delivering a fantastic product to the Eastern Cape and the South African Beefmaster market. The three hosts of this sale all represent multi-generational family businesses that have operated in the Eastern Cape since the 19th century, hence the focus on HERITAGE in our sale. The longevity of our respective family businesses is largely attributable to the passion, dedication and integrity with which we operate. We are excited to share our offering with you in September 2025 and hope that the quality we offer will transform the herds of our buyers.
