A Day with the Behemoth: NYLE 636 Charter

In 1970, the Canadian National Railway took delivery of several M636 locomotives from Montreal Locomotive Works, the last of the great ALCO 251s. After operating on the Cartier, Susquehanna, and Western New York & Pennsylvania railroads, M636 #636 has found a new home on the New York & Lake Erie Railroad in Gowanda, NY.

Timeless Rail Expeditions is excited to present an exclusive photo charter operating from Gowanda to Cherry Creek, NY with several opportunities to photograph and take video of this mighty locomotive hauling a matching passenger consist. We will also ride over and make photo stops on rare mileage between South Dayton and Cherry Creek, in addition to other surprises throughout the afternoon and evening!
