Crickhowell VE Day 80 Street Party

A traditional style street party in the heart of Crickhowell to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day (Actual date 8th May). It is an opportunity for individuals of all ages to come together as a community to honour and pay tribute to the Second World War generation from across the UK and especially those in the Crickhowell and surrounding areas.

The theme is one of Peace, Unity and Community.

Bring your own Food and Drink, dress in 40's vintage clothing, enjoy music and great company, fun and Games for the children and a return of the once famous Tug-o-war (unfortunately not accross the river).
The HIgh Street will be closed from midday with the event starting at 2pm. Tables will provided along with the entertainment but please bring along your own chairs and picnic.
