Invitation to Closure of Ministry of Rev Daniel Mossfield
Sunday 28 September 2025 at 9.30am
Crookwell Uniting Church would like to invite the broader Crookwell community to Rev. Daniel Mossfield's Closure of Ministry Service.
Daniel has served as Minister of Crookwell Uniting Church for 8½ years, during which time he has become a familiar face throughout the community. Many locals will have encountered his ministry through ANZAC Day services, funerals for loved ones, or through his involvement in community organisations including the Crookwell Soccer Club and the Upper Lachlan Foundation.
During his time in Crookwell, Daniel has been actively involved in the life of the town, with his family making Crookwell their home. His wife Nicki and sons Sam and Benji have all become integral parts of the community.
Daniel will be taking up a new placement as Minister of Wesley Canberra Uniting Church in January 2026, following the standard Uniting Church practice of ministers serving 5-10 years in each placement before moving on.
Although Daniel and his family won’t be moving until January, his placement with the Crookwell congregation will conclude at the end of September. The service on 28 September will be an opportunity for the community to give thanks for Daniel’s ministry and to wish the family well as they begin their new chapter.
All are welcome to attend this special service of celebration and thanksgiving.
