Take your rifle skills to the next level with this hands-on, on-range training designed to prepare you for success in the hunting field. Long distance shooting and big game hunting will be the lead focus.
Participants will learn proper rifle setup for achieving a natural point of aim, along with the fundamentals of marksmanship—breathing, trigger control, and follow-through.
You’ll also practice using auxiliary equipment such as bipods, slings, shooting bags, or tripods to improve shot placement, as well as rangefinders when available. Training includes mock deer hunts to build real-world confidence and reinforce shot placement skills.

Day 2, Oct. 12 will be on a shooting range near Stocksville.
