Every six hours in Sweden, a life is lost to suicide.
Wednesday, September 10th, marks International Suicide Prevention Day. A day to raise awareness, remember those we’ve lost, and strengthen our commitment to preventing further tragedy.
On Saturday October 11th, we will gather to honor loved ones, support one another, and transform grief into connection and loneliness into community. Under the last warm rays of summer, we’ll set up a soundsystem and dance together to remember.
In the spirit of community we invite you to co-create this event with us.
✨ How you can contribute:
• Play music – live acoustic or a DJ set 🎶🎧
• Hold a workshop, yoga, or other activity 🧘♀️🎨
• Help decorate the space 🌸🖌️
• Keep the area clean and safe 🧹🛡️
• Take a shift in the non-alcoholic bar 🍹🥤
• Invite to and share this event 📣🤝
• Cook some lovely chai on site 🍵💖
• Help set up / take down the party 💪🏗️
• Bring firewood for the fires 🔥🌲
• Donate money to the cause 💰🤲
• Lend out equipment (Generator, cozy lights, etc.) ⚡
• Reach out to a friend and remind them they are loved 💛💌
