He will cover everything from our farm’s crop plan to tips for starting seeds, setting up your garden, and implementing pest exclusion techniques. About the instructor: 

Matt Celona joined AOOA as the Farm Manager in 2023, and brings over 20 years of experience managing community based farms and crop production. Driven by a deep concern for the planet's future, he was inspired to pursue a career in farming after volunteering on a farm, where he saw firsthand how the power of sustainable agriculture can make a positive environmental impact. Matt is passionate about sharing his knowledge about the broader systems that drive a farm’s success with fellow farmers and volunteer groups, while also teaching  workshops focused on regenerative farming practices and community-based agriculture.
