Join us for an evening of intrigue and adventure with author Bruce Cashbaugh, as he shares from his newest mystery novel, The Last Whisper—a contemporary noir set against the lush backdrop of Costa Rica.

When a small-town Fire Chief and newly elected County Sheriff abruptly leaves his life behind, what begins as a quiet escape quickly turns into a high-stakes journey across borders and into the unknown. As Chief Alfred disappears deeper into his surroundings, one question lingers: Is he chasing freedom, or running from something else?

Bruce brings decades of storytelling experience from the world of advertising to the written page, crafting suspenseful, character-driven novels with sharp insight and unexpected twists.
