Penteract is a powerhouse, young five-piece band from the Central Coast, delivering a dynamic fusion of rock, blues, funk, and Latin grooves. With a setlist that spans decades and genres, they breathe new life into classics like "Another Brick in the Wall" (Pink Floyd), "Smooth" (Santana), and "Virtual Insanity" (Jamiroquai).

Formed in 2020 when fellow teachers Mark McKinnon and Tony
Smith began playing with the idea of creating a duo based on a
mutual passion for vocal harmony and the acoustic format.
Promising rehearsals were sidelined due to the pandemic and when
they finally got to play in 2022, a member of the audience
approached them with an interest in adding bass to the mix. With
the addition of Peter Lewis’ fretless bass the duo became a trio.
The TOFS play an eclectic mix of popular covers from the ’60’s
onwards including songs from the Beatles, Stones, Joe Cocker, Paul
Kelly, U2, Steve Harley, Sam and Dave, Tracey Chapman, Van
Morrison, Chris Isaak, Diesel, Blur, Bonnie Raitt, The Band and many
others.

Formed in late 2010 by guitarist Hayden Maskey and blues harpist Paul Rubie,
Johnny Devilseed & Old Man Rubes have been doin' the rounds about towns, constantly blowin' the doors off venues, every time they perform. �With a huge repertoire of original songs ranging from the old timey era to the modern blues of today, their shows have been described by many as a, "full on, hardcore, foot to the floor, theatrical blues extravaganza!"
In March 2014, the duo released their debut EP "John the Revelator" to much critical acclaim and with the recent release of their latest E.P "Woy Woy Bound" the Central Coast NSW based act is finding this year to be one of their busiest years yet.
The Blues n Roots Duo has performed at many prestigious festivals up and down the east coast of Australia such as Vacy Blues N Roots, Blues on Broadbeach, Wollombi Music Festival, GosBlues, Girrakool Bluesfest, Australian Bluesfest at Goulburn, SYDNEY Bluesfest and tonnes more.
Having opened for local and international acts such as, Dead Kennedys, Grinspoon, IAN Moss, Ash Grunwald, Johnny Diesel, Claude Hay , EVIL Elvis & more, Johnny Devilseed & Old Man Rubes have certainly carved a unique sound and reputation with their gravely voiced, fast paced, harmonica driven blues tunes.
