Gore Volunteer Fire and Rescue hosts its 2025 Annual Yard Party on Friday August 15, 2025 and Saturday August 16, 2025.
On Friday, Gore Fire and Rescue welcomes you with bluegrass music from the band Joseph Hott . Be sure to grab something to eat at the ham stand where we will be serving our famous country ham sandwiches and vegetable soup, along with other items available for purchase. The ham stand will open at 5pm and Bluegrass starts at 7pm. Come out on Friday, relax, and take in some Bluegrass!
On Saturday, the yard party will continue with dinners being served at 3:30pm. The ham stand will also be open starting at 3:30pm. Sherrard Auction Company will grab the mic at 6pm to kick off our annual auction. Food and drinks will be served through the duration of the auction at the ham stand.
This year we have raffle tickets for 3 cash prizes of $500 each. At 9:30pm we will give the auction company a break to draw the raffle ticket winners. All ticket sales will cease at 9:00pm Saturday August 16, 2025. Tickets are going fast, so find a member before or during the event, or purchase your ticket today from our website.
