Cristian de Sá has been named a ‘Young Classical Star’ by Classic FM and has been introduced to his audiences as “one of the great violin stars of the future” (Gulbenkian Orchestra). Since his recital debut at Amsterdam's Concertgebouw aged 24, de Sá has gone on to perform as soloist in Europe’s most prestigious halls including the Mozarteum in Salzburg, London's Wigmore Hall and the Salle Cortot in Paris. He has performed with Maxim Vengerov and has featured on BBC Radio 3, Classic FM, France Musique, RTP Portugal, TVR Romania, Magic Classical (formerly Scala Radio) and The Strad Magazine.
I Musicanti was formed in 2013 by its artistic director, the internationally renowned double bass virtuoso Leon Bosch. The artists who make up I Musicanti play in the finest orchestras and as soloists and chamber musicians; they appear in concert halls internationally and on recordings; they are based in Britain but come from around the world. What unites them is their ceaseless musical curiosity, a palpable sense of adventure and an unswerving commitment to excellence.
