Friends, most of our community will never forget Mar 6, 2025...
we all suffered a tremendous loss that Thursday night. Our close friends, Bob & Rita Kukuk lost their 22-year-old only son to a horrific drunk driving accident, Luca Kukuk.
To honor Luca, The Market of Pace is dedicating our 3 Year Anniversary Market to the memory of Luca!!
This special market will be on Saturday , June 21 @ Woodbine Baptist Church 9-1
we are going to have...
• a petting zoo by AWA Farms,
• a bounce house by Patriot Party Rentals,
•a Show & Shine Car show
•tons of Local Vendors
•Food trucks
•and guest speakers from MADD, (mothers against drunk driving) and possibly the mother of Luca Kukuk sharing a message!
• we will be selling stickers and shirts as well as raffling off gift baskets in honor of Luca 🙂
Luca was the sweetest, smartest, kindest young man. But Luca is in heaven for eternity, not because he was sweet or smart or kind, but because Christ died for him, and Luca lived for Christ. Luca trusted in Jesus, and it was evident to everyone.
Sadly, A grown man in our community, a successful business owner with a wife and two small children chose to make a horrible decision that ended Luca's life. The Kukuks were actually compassionate towards the family but they have a very strong message to the community, to " LIVE LIKE LUCA ", DRIVE SOBER & speak out to those around you to DRIVE SOBER WITH NO EXCUSES!!
Luca, thank you for your testimony. We love you, Kukuk Family! You are our heroes, and we are all here for you!
