Lieutenant Wilson is a Civil Engineer Officer currently serving as the OIC Program Development in the 4th Civil Engineer Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB. He graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2023.

John C. Paquin, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C, CDT

As the Architecture Director for ZAPATA, John is a registered architect with 35 years of experience. He oversees a staff of architects and designers who excel in creating efficient, well-designed buildings and spaces that measurably enhance the quality of life for those who work, train, and live in them.

For the past 16 years, his extensive experience includes new construction and renovation projects for USACE, USAF, and NAVFAC, including headquarters buildings, SCIFs (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities), barracks, critical facilities, specialized training facilities, and fitness centers.

John is a Past President of AIA North Carolina and has served as President of AIA Charlotte; he is also an adjunct lecturer and guest critic for the University of North Carolina at Charlotte College of Architecture and actively mentors junior staff.
