Join Lindsey and Chad for an afternoon workshop covering the foundations of Balboa! Featuring 2 hours of Pure Balboa, 2 hours of Bal Swing, and 1 hour of guided practice!

12:30pm-2:30pm: Pure Balboa Foundations
2:30-3:30pm: Break/Guided Practice (DJ'd music). Hang out and practice or step out for a coffee or food break!
3:30-5:30pm: Bal Swing Foundations and Transitions

About the instructors:
Lindsey and Chad are seasoned performers, competitors and teachers in Balboa and Lindy Hop. They are current or former members of performance troupes such as Harvest Moon Hoppers, Amazebals, Wild Rhythm Dance Company, Yeah Man, and the Lindy Hop All Stars, performing at venues including Lincoln Center, Rockefeller Center, Lindy Focus, and Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival. They have also performed at dozens of private functions as individuals and with companies including Gatsby Entertainment. They are contest finalists and winners at events such as All Balboa Weekend, Great Lakes Balboa Escape, Hot Rhythm Holiday, Bal Week, and Bal-Ast Off. During their time in New York City, they taught Balboa and Lindy Hop at You Should Be Dancing Studios and Sandra Cameron Studios. Chad was formerly a co-organizer of Bal Week.
