Join us for the Opening Reception on Saturday, August 9 from 2-4 pm with remarks by Damien Gilley and Curator of Education Sorcha Meek Paul.
About the Exhibition: "Vista Vista" is a visual celebration of the Columbia Gorge in a large-scale mural, interpreting the landscape through a lens of graphic abstraction and the photographic lens. Sightlines and vistas reinforce the viewer as a lone perceiver, continuously seeking vantage points that illuminate nature’s scale, perspectives, and complexity. The work is a collage of imagery stored in digital memory, an architecture that attempts to reconstruct an expansive natural landmark.
