Get ready, Golden- Two powerhouse bands. One electric night.
Great Lake Swimmers weave hypnotic folk with a groove that pulls you in, while Elliott BROOD brings their signature stomp-and-strum energy that will have the whole room on its feet. This is roots music that hits the heart — and the dance floor.
Led by Tony Dekker, Great Lake Swimmers have spent over two decades crafting songs that are both grounded and transcendent — rooted in the natural world, yet expansive in their emotional reach. Their newest single, “One More Dance Around the Sun,” is a warm, analog-rich reflection on time, change, and perseverance. With backing vocals reminiscent of Laurel Canyon’s golden age and instrumentation shaped by some of Canada’s finest collaborators, the band continues to create music that feels intimate, timeless, and deeply human.
Joining them are Elliott BROOD, a trio known for their powerful blend of grit and melody. Over the years, they’ve earned a devoted following for songs that are steeped in memory, from historical battlefields to personal reckonings. Their JUNO Award–winning work combines folk, rock, and storytelling into a sound that is both cathartic and cinematic. Their most recent album, Keeper, turns the lens inward, exploring themes of loyalty, worthiness, and emotional endurance.
