On March 19th, we will have Danielle Meder to present: “Remote but Not Alone: Self-Evaluation and Skill Development for Interpreters​"

Remote interpreters work in professional isolation, often without the feedback mechanisms available in traditional settings. This interactive workshop introduces a systematic framework for evaluating the foundational skills that support quality remote interpreting, from your professional presentation and workspace management to your preparation routines and ethical decision-making. Using an empowerment-centered approach grounded in Communicative Autonomy and Role Space Theory, you’ll learn to assess your general performance across four key standards. Leave with practical self-evaluation tools and a concrete action plan for strengthening your remote interpreting practice.
