Oregon Origins Project II: Seven Wonders

Join composer and director Matthew Packwood for a string quartet performance of Oregon Origins: Seven Wonders, a musical journey through Oregon’s wild places — from Meyers Creek Beach to Steens Mountain, and many stops in between. Following the live performance, geologist Ian Madin will give an illustrated presentation of the breathtaking locations that inspired the project. Then special guest and Indigenous culture bearer Katrina Thompson-Upton of the Northwest American Indian Coalition will present on the Indigenous history and culture of the area.

The performance will take place at 6pm on Saturday, September 13 at Curry Public Library in Gold Beach.

This is event is free and open to the public and is sponsored by generous funding from Oregon's Wild Rivers Coast.
