All-Women (Cis/Trans/Nonbinary) Community Hike with Jess 🌲
Join Jess for a free community hike at the epic Wallace Falls Via Woody Trail, at Wallace Falls State Park, WA, just about 90 minutes from Seattle! 8 AM PST on meet up, on trail at 8:15 AM.
You'll take on a 4.7-mile out-and-back trail with 1,410 ft of elevation gain. Beginner-friendly, but you should feel comfortable keeping about a mile-per-hour pace.
Expect a laid-back vibe, plenty of snack breaks, and great company.
This is a hike-at-your-own-risk community event.

Please bring gear from the suggested Day Hike Gear List below. Expect cool temps and possible rain!
Essentials:
- Daypack (20–30L)
-2L of water minimum (bottle or hydration bladder)
-Snacks or light lunch (trail mix, bars, fruit, etc.)
-Fully charged phone with offline maps or GPS app
-Small first aid kit
-Toilet paper or wipes + sealable bag for packing out trash and or Pee cloth
-Hiking poles if you use them
Clothing Layers:
-Moisture-wicking base layer (no cotton!)
-Lightweight long-sleeve or sun shirt
-Fleece or insulating mid-layer
-Waterproof / windproof shell or rain jacket
-Hiking pants or leggings (avoid jeans or heavy cotton)
-Wool or synthetic socks (bring an extra pair)
-Hat or beanie (depending on weather)
-Lightweight gloves
Footwear:
-Trail shoes or hiking boots with good traction
Extras (Optional but Smart):
-Bandana
-Sunglasses & sunscreen (even on cloudy days!)
-Electrolyte mix or hydration tabs
-Headlamp (just in case)
-Small sit pad for snack breaks
-Thermos of warm liquid
Pro Tip:
-Cash or card for post-hike snacks or parking
-Change of clothes and camp or car sandals for afterwards
