Lucas Garrett has played professionally for over a decade. Incorporating his idiosyncratic vocal stylings with an unusual blend of progressive rock, folk, new wave, and indie, Lucas has created a unique sound that audiences enjoy time and time again.
Garrett is set to deliver an entertaining afternoon of music that people of all ages will be able to enjoy. Singing songs that span his 12 years as a recording artist, those in attendance that afternoon will get a chance to hear new material, as well as carefully curated, memorable covers.
"[Garrett] is one of the most distinct voices in the 518 music scene. . ." (Jim Shahen Jr., Times Union, 2022)
"...he churns out smart, catchy rock tunes that growl in some places, jangle in others." - Amy Biancolli
Joining Lucas on bass this night is Thom Carvey.
Thom Carvey is a seasoned veteran of the New England/New York music scene who has been shaking up musical environments since the late 80s. He cut his teeth while studying Music at Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY as a multi-instrumentalist specializing in saxophone and bass. He decided to head back to VT (where he grew up) and become a staple in the Burlington music scene which opened the way for him to play with various projects across the country, the Virgin Islands, and Europe. His playing style is as versatile as his Spotify playlist, mixing rock, jazz, soul, r&b, gospel, and progressive rock into a unique style and approach, regardless of what instrument he is channeling music through.
