About the masterclass
Part one of this two-part masterclass, Queer, British-Ghanaian inclusion and wellbeing consultant Benjy Kusi (@benjykusi) will guide you through the process of defining, refining, and communicating your unique personal brand as a creative. Drawing on his experience helping organisations and individuals worldwide create spaces where everyone can thrive - and building a social media community of over 240,000+ people - Benjy will share strategies that combine authenticity, self-awareness, and impact.
Who’s it for?
Creatives and artists who want to strengthen their personal brand, grow their audience, and communicate their work in a way that reflects their values and vision.
What you’ll get?
By the end of the series, you will:
Understand what personal branding is and why it matters and increased confidence in their unique offering as a creative/artist.
A structured framework to define and refine your brand identity.
Receive constructive feedback to deepen self-awareness and creative direction.
Increased confidence to communicate your brand authentically and effectively in a way that aligns with their values, vision, and unique voice as a creative.
Before the session: attendees should prepare a personal brand moodboard in any format that suits them - digital (e.g. Canva, slides) or physical. The moodboard should capture three key elements:
their brand foundation (who they are, their values, and purpose),
their intended audience (demographics, interests, and needs),
brand consistency (visual style, tone of voice, and overarching story).
This can be in the form of images, text or both. Other creative approaches are also encouraged.
