Discover Dragonfly Stilt Walkers with their iridescent wings and shimmering bodies. These larger-than-life insects are certain to catch your eye as they parade around our wetland centre. Don’t miss your chance for an unbelievable photo opportunity! Roaming around the wetlands, timings coming soon.
Gather round for Storytime Sessions - follow four adorable insect friends on a delightful adventure with Lucy Cousins' "A Good Place". Taking place at 10.30am and 3.30pm in the Estuary Shoreline Garden. Free, drop in and join in.
Roll up, roll up to our Kid's Poetry Slam and write a dragonfly rhyme that flutters, zips and zooms. 11am - 12.15pm, free, drop in and join in to the Art Hub.
Join us throughout the day for hands-on fun: Make your own zine bursting with bold ideas or transform into a bug with our insect dress-up box. Get ready to dive into the weird, wonderful, and wiggly world of insect puppets. Unleash your creativity as you craft your very own beetle, grasshopper, wasp, or dragonfly puppet. Then take to the stage and bring your creepy-crawly characters to life in our fantastical puppet theatre. Perform, play, and let your imagination fly! Free, drop in to Toad Hall, outside the Cinema.
