This hands-on workshop blends artistry and science, introducing you to tensegrity—a fascinating engineering principle found in bridges, stadiums, and even futuristic structures.
What You’ll Get:
Each wood component has been personally designed, cut, and prepped by the instructor—this is not a mass-produced kit, but a uniquely handcrafted experience
Assorted acrylic paints, brushes, and paint pens to bring your vision to life
Guided instruction with inspiration from samples and templates—or the freedom to craft your own unique design
A chance to swap trinkets and embellishments with fellow creators for that extra magical touch
Workshop Flow:
We’ll begin by painting your bird’s components, bringing its colors and personality to life
Lunch Break!
While your artwork dries, enjoy a relaxed break and connect with fellow creators
After the paint sets, we’ll move into assembly, balancing tension and compression to achieve the gravity-defying effect

The key to this project is balance—both creatively and structurally! You'll play with forces and positioning to find the sweet spot where everything comes together in mid-air.
