We are giving away this post vice, anvil, tongs and hammer set as part of our annual demo and potluck to benefit The Tidewater Blacksmith’s Guild. The Tidewater Blacksmiths Guild’s sole purpose is the perpetuate the noble craft of blacksmithing. The drawing will be held on September 21 at 4 PM with festivities kicking off around 1pm. The winner does not need to be present, but does need to arrange for pick up or delivery. This giveaway enrollment ONLINE will end on September 19th at 11:59 PM TO GIVE US TIME TO PROCESS ONLINE TICKETS. In person tickets can still be purchased the day of the event up until the time of the drawing.
Our annual event is always free and open to the public and anyone interested in blacksmithing should attend! There will be tailgate tool sales, iron in the hat(Blacksmith silent auction) , a free scrap metal dive where attendees can take as much of our scrap metal home as they can carry. George the owner of the Village Blacksmith will be doing a short forging demo and talking about the business of blacksmithing, as well as demonstrating the aspects of the induction forge while involving attendees to assist him at the anvil.
Bring a dish, chair, sense of humor, and witness what is so great about this CRAFT. Attendees can join the tidewater Blacksmith Guild at a very small annual fee if they wish.
