Monday Medicine: Full Moon in Aries - Sound Bath Glossop

Join us for a nourishing and restorative sound bath using Himalayan singing bowls, Quartz crystal singing bowls, chimes, grounding rattles and our Solar-Powered Sun gong. Tune into your your devine energy through a deeply restful sound bath and set intentions for the week ahead.

If you haven't been to a sound bath before, you don't need to bring your trunks or get wet! You can come and have a cosy little lie down on one of our super comfy thick mats and drift off on your journey of sound...

Please bring a water bottle with you, it is important to stay hydrated, feel free to bring a journal to note down anything that comes up, an eye mask if you fancy and you are welcome to bring some crystals to charge with the evening's energy if you would like to.

If you would like to attend the sound bath but are unable to lie down on the floor please let us know and we can make some arrangements to cater for you.

Matts, blankets and pillows will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

Dress comfy and cosy.

Sound baths are best recieved on an empty stomach, so if you can fast a few hours before hand please do, if not a light meal beforehand is fine.

If you are in a tight spot financially but would but feel called to attend, please reach out.

Doors Open at 6.30pm. Doors Close and Sound Bath begins at 6.40pm.

We will have 10 minutes to get settled in before beginning the Sound Bath at 6.40pm and ending it at 7.40pm. We will then have 30 minutes to rest, chat, journal and hang out.

Sound baths are generally safe havens for most people but if you have any of the medical conditions listed below please consult your medical healthcare professional before attending a sound bath and let us know upon your arrival so that we can make the appropriate accommodations.

Medical conditions

• Pregnancy: First and third trimesters
• Heart conditions: Pacemakers and other heart conditions
• Metal implants: Metal plates or implants
• Epilepsy: Some rare forms of epilepsy may be triggered by sound
• Sound sensitivity: Labyrinthitis, Meniere's Disease, or other sound sensitive conditions
• Deep vein thrombosis: Deep vein thrombosis in the leg or known thrombi
• Open wounds: Open wounds, acute inflammations, and tumors

Mental health issues

• Unmanaged mental health issues such as PTSD, personality disorder, or schizophrenia
• Generalised stress and anxiety or depression

Intoxication

• Being intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs. If you are intoxicated, you will be asked to leave.

Other considerations

• Lying on the floor for an extended period can cause physical discomfort, especially for those with back or joint issues
• The powerful vibrations can sometimes lead to headaches or dizziness in sensitive people
• Sound therapy has the potential to trigger strong emotional reactions, including crying, sadness, or feelings of release.
