Gelfand Gallop Color Run

Come join us for the most colorful run of the year as we celebrate the 35th year of The Debra Gelfand Children's Foundation! Get ready to run, walk, or skip your way through the course on August 24, 2025 at Richard E. John’s Park, 2101 Central Road, Glenview.

The Gelfand Gallop is a 1 mile, untimed, community run where participants get covered from head to toe with vibrant colors made from safe, food-grade, biodegradable cornstarch. By the time participants cross the finish line, they will be covered in a brillant palette of colors. Every participant will receive a t-shirt to wear for the race.

After your colorful run, grab your goody bag and stick around for our post-race party! !

In the case of inclement weather, the event will be canceled and registration is non-refundable.

Start Time: Check in & T-shirt pick up begin at 8:30 am with the 1 mile race festivities beginning at 9:00.

End Time: Post-race party will last until 10:30. Join us for the fun!

Register by July 31st to guarantee a t-shirt. After July 31st, t-shirts will be first come first served.
