Bird Walk at Stauffer’s Marsh Nature Preserve

This is a free/donation-based program. All ages are welcome, though youth must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required and limited to 10 participants.

Anyone with an interest is welcome to come along, regardless of their birding skills! Join PVAS for a bird walk at Stauffer’s Marsh Nature Preserve in Back Creek Valley, west of 81. This 46-acre PVAS nature preserve features a wetland restored through the USDA’s Wetland Reserve Program and is a paradise for migrating and nesting waterfowl. The property features easy, mowed trails with interpretive signs, two overlooks for waterfowl viewing, and even a pollinator meadow. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy fall migration and add to the bird list for this special place!
