October W**d out

Help remove invasive plants, targeting Buckthorn, from Doctors Park Saturday, October 4th from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. You do not have to sign up in advance, just go to the parking lot of Doctors Park. Volunteers from Doctors Park Friends will be providing training to identify Buckthorn, remove the plants, and safely use the tools. The all-important snacks will also be available. No experience is necessary and there are tasks for all skill levels and ages.

Volunteers should wear long pants, long sleeves, and substantial closed toe shoes or boots. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves but there will be some available.
