Angel narrates her personal journey with grief and the 5 main lessons learned along the way, using the deaths of her father, brother and husband.
But things go awry when she begins to hear the voices of these 3 spirits and realizes there is unfinished business with each of them.
She must try to maintain balance between teaching the audience what she’s learned and her sanity and composure, all while keeping the voices at bay. Can she educate an audience on the important lessons of death if she refuses to learn them herself? In her willingness to revisit these pivotal themes of grief, she uncovers fractures within her ghostly relationships and must decide to either live with the cracks or mend them to bring closure and lay them truly to rest.
