Walk with the Ancestors - Southwest Middlesex

12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (feel free to arrive earlier)

Located at 21563 Pratt Siding Road (Hwy. 76) Municipality of Southwest Middlesex. South of Longwoods Road (Hwy. 2) - between River Drive and the Thames River

This year we are remembering our ancestors and acquaintances in the Simpson Cemetery. 

Descendants neighbours and the general public are invited to the Simpson Cemetery to pay

their respects and tell stories about those buried there. Bring a copy of a forebear’s portrait to

tape onto their gravestone. Special activities are planned.

Bring a lawn chair picnic blanket lunch hand sanitizer and sun protection (sunscreen hat

sunglasses and/or umbrella). A portable toilet will be available on site. This will be a “carry-in

carry-out” event so please remove any trash when you leave. Water and soft drinks will be

provided courtesy of the Glencoe & District Historical Society.

This memorial event is hosted by the Simpson Descendants Circle and sponsored by the

Glencoe & District Historical Society.
